The practice of Medicine
is an Art based in Science
~ Sir William Osler

After completing my residency in Phoenix I entered private practice in 1988. Soon after, I had two children (a mere 18 months apart) and found full time private practice wouldn’t allow me to spend needed time at home. I became an employed physician in a large internal medicine practice. In 1993 I moved to Washington State where my husband, Dr Michael Martin, joined a cardiology practice in Renton. I joined the Bellevue clinic (which became Medalia Healthcare) and practiced at the Pine Lake location. Changes in that organization prompted me to move to the UW Medicine Clinic in Issaquah in 1988. During that transition I changed my last name from Bruenderman to Martin.

I’ve longed to return to private practice for several years. I wanted something different from the big medical complex. I wanted something different for my patients

And here it is!

  • A small practice where the only doc you’ll see is me.
  • A personalized practice where the person answering the phone also makes your appointment, takes a message, checks you in and thanks you as you leave.
  • An accessible practice with free, ground level parking 25- 50 feet from my door.
  • A computer savvy practice with a secure electronic medical records system and prescription faxing capability.
  • A comfortable practice with cotton robes and flannel sheets.
  • An responsive practice that returns your call and sends your results in a timely manner
  • An unhurried practice where there’s time for your questions.
