After completing my residency in Phoenix I entered private practice in 1988. Soon after, I had two children (a mere 18 months apart) and found full time private practice wouldn’t allow me to spend needed time at home. I became an employed physician in a large internal medicine practice. In 1993 I moved to Washington State where my husband, Dr Michael Martin, joined a cardiology practice in Renton. I joined the Bellevue clinic (which became Medalia Healthcare) and practiced at the Pine Lake location. Changes in that organization prompted me to move to the UW Medicine Clinic in Issaquah in 1988. During that transition I changed my last name from Bruenderman to Martin.
I’ve longed to return to private practice for several years. I wanted something different from the big medical complex. I wanted something different for my patients
And here it is!
